I have owned Yzma since she was born and she has been such a pleasure to own. Her sire belongs to good friends of mine and I have owned several of his colts. Yzma has been my personal horse and she has been there and done that. She was started on the ranch day working and working feed lots. She has natural cow sense and has done sorting, is finished on the heel side, and started on the head side as well. Yzma is also patterned on barrels and poles and ready to haul.... (read more) She has been used for colt starting, ponies, and is a great babysitter for the babies. Yzma has also been ridden English and loves to jump. She has been in a western movie and ridden by lots of other people. I absolutely adore this horse and will be selective where she goes. I am ONLY letting her go because she is too nice to sit in my pasture while I’m focusing on colts and my plans to haul and compete just keep getting pushed back and quiet frankly, I just don’t have the desire to be on the road anymore. That being said, she has spent 8 months with a rope horse trainer and 6 months with a barrel horse trainer in addition to all the time I have spent with her. All the hard work is done! Come meet her for yourself or if you are too far we are more than happy to FaceTime you to see her in real time. We also have a great hauler!

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!! Be sure to check out our videos on youtube as we try to show absolutely everything we can so you feel like you know them before you ever bring your new horse home. Most of our buyers purchase and ship them off of their videos so we aim to be as comprehensive as possible. Don’t ever hesitate to ask if you want to see something that isn’t shown also.
