I am offering my jack mule, Sky, for sale.
Sky is an 8 year old, gaited, medium-boned, Jack mule. Sky is drop dead gorgeous: dapple red/grey, beautiful head and ears, beautiful tail, and large, kind eyes. Sky is sound. I purchased Sky when he was 4 years old from Rick Carmack, Carmack Mules. Sky has had 4 months of professional training with extensive hours of ground work and has been hitched to a buggy.... (read more) I bought Sky as my riding mule but because I am now riding my sister's mule, Sky is just standing in the pasture - he needs a good home, wet blankets (miles), and a job.
Sky:
• will come to you and lower his head to bridle, or halter
• loads, clips, and shoes easily
• side-pass, crosses over when turning on the front or back
• break at the pole when backing, walking, gaiting, loping
• break at the pole when riding collected
• lunge on a long line - stop, back, and turn in either direction
• lunge in a round pen in the direction sent, stop when asked, face and then turn in direction sent
• move from a walk to a trot to a lope without hesitation
• good conformation and physical condition
• side passes over to mounting block
• easy to catch, stands quietly, and leads well
• micro-chipped
