Eva is a 13 year old mini donkey. Eva has been with us since she was weaned from her mom. She has been a faithful companion to my mare for that entire time. We are very sad to be rehoming her and the only reason we are is we have purchased a property with 5 acres of irrigated pasture. That much grass would be terrible for a donkey that is the definition of an easy keeper and she absolutely hates grazing muzzles. Eva is kind and gentle. She has had a saddle on and I have ponied my daughter on her from a young age and Eva doesn't care.... (read more) While she can sometimes be stubborn about where she wants to go she actually leads fine, trailers easily, stands for vet and farrier. Other than needing to lose some weight she is healthy and requires very little hay. She has had consistent vet and farrier care her whole life. Our main goal is a good home so if you feel your a good home contact me and price may be negotiable.
