This pretty girl is a solid built 15 hand Paint mare, around 15 years old. She trail rides alone or in a group and is the same horse on or off property. Not spooky. She rides w/t/c both in the open and in an arena. She stands like a rock for you to mount, will let you mount from anywhere, logs, fences, you name it. Same horse whether you use a saddle or just jump on bareback with a halter! Mild mannered in the herd, Not mareish at all. Doesnt get upset with other horses, would make an excellent baby sitter for young horses.... (read more) Currently barefoot and sound. UTD on dental and coggins.
Trixie is SAFE and kind but mildly forward moving and best suited to an advanced beginner rider who is ok with a little movement. Safe enough to be a first horse for someone who already has some riding experience and gentle enough to be a lesson horse.
Has been to some fun gaming shows and is happy to trot/ lope a barrel pattern. Shes also been to a couple of team penning practices. She's not a gaming or cow horse, but one you can take out places and just have fun.
For sale due to no fault of her own. Owner seeking to get into cow penning more swriously and needs a horse more suited to ranchwork. Just can't keep an extra horse. A good home is a must.
