Reece is a 14/15 Year old Grade trail/all around mare. Reece can cross water, go over bridges, can be ridden through a field or in the woods. You can also throw a rope off of her and drag around a roping dummy. Reece has also drug a huge tarp around and it didn’t spook or phase her at all. Reece is basically bombproof as she has only spooked maybe once or twice in the 8 or 9 years that I have owned her. I have also jumped Reece a little less than two feet a few times, just for fun as I ride western, and she did great.... (read more) Reece is very level headed and smart. An advanced beginner is preferred as she can have some attitude at times, but she acts more like a gelding the majority of the time. Reece is at the bottom of the totem pole in the field, and doesn’t put up a fight with the other horses. She would rather walk the other direction than mess with the other horses who want to be the leader. Reece does get a little antsy at bigger shows, but she does better if you just ride her around to keep her mind off of it. Reece has been used to carry the flag at the local saddle club a lot, and she does great. She has also been used in different games put on by the saddle clubs’ youthboard. For example, we played polo, except the ball was huge(kind of like a yoga ball) and we were provided with small sticks to push it around, but instead of using the stick I used Reece to just push the ball around. She walked straight towards the ball and pushed it with her front legs, if the ball got stuck under her she didn’t pay any mind to it. Reece is truly an amazing mare and she deserves an amazing home. The only reason I am selling her is that I got a new horse and she has been placed on the back burner. She doesn’t get the attention she deserves and she also gets bullied by my two geldings that she is in the field with.
