Additional Comments
Drifter is the kind of young horse that doesn’t come around very often. He is built the way one should be, with straight legs, big feet, a kind eye, and tops it all off with that cool cowboy blue color. Drifter is physically and mentally much more mature than his age shows and is solid enough to be enjoyed by riders of most ages and experience levels. He has spent a lot of time outside on the ranch, in the mountains, sorting cattle, dragging calves to the shed on a sled and anything else ranch related.... (read more) We have also ridden him extensively in the arena; he has a big stop, turns around well, moves off your leg, works gates, and is gentle every day. Drifter has headed a lot of steers in the arena. He scores well, can run down the strong steers but stays quiet and will rate the slow ones. He is easy to ride in the handle, stays honest and finishes well. He is also easy to heel on, times cattle well, and is solid on the horn. Drifter has all the hard work done, has his whole life ahead of him and will always be one of the fanciest, kindest-natured horses around. He is the first to meet you at the gate to be caught, is easy to shoe, clip, bathe, tie, haul etc. He has always stayed gentle even with time off and is ready for you to come check him out for yourself.
