Flash's willing mind is PRICELESS for further developing * kind , athletic OTTB 5 yr JC/CTHS reg. thoroughbred gelding * Microchipped ( only 5 races as a 3 year old ) *has had professional transition equitation foundation , ridden both English / Western with snaffle bit. Well suited for progressing in Dressage Hunter , Working Equitation , Equitation disciplines -either English or Western .

Flash is kind and friendly so has also served in Experiential Equine Connection ground sessions as a therapy horse interacting with Neurodivergent children( to promote empathy and emotional regulation) in his owner/ breeder's private child psychologist practice.

Flash has lots of bath experience and trailered well for Bar None trainer from his race training days as a 2 and 3 year old
Has been well socialized from a foal - began under saddle & racehorse kindergarten training at 2 ,trained and then raced as a 3 year old in 2024 **only 5 times , then retired from racing and allowed time to be a horse .
Returned to boarding at Bar None Ranches in September 2024 was given transition time .
During 2025 -2026 with Bar None staff ( experienced in transitioning OTTB) Flash was ridden WTC both in English and Western saddles .
Flash was also a demonstartion horse in 2025 OTTB transition clinic presented by Alberta Thoroughbred Aftercare Society *ATAS at Bar None Ranches.
No Vices * Willing ,intelligent , athletic, safe, friendly and kind .

WHY a new career ?
His Alberta owner/ breeder realized in September 2024 after just 5 races as a 3 year old , that while Flash did everything right during daily morning training, this WILLING 2021 gelding could not race competitively at the high level needed as an "A" track racehorse.
Flash came close to last in each of his 5 races, however he has distance/ stamina bloodlines and returned from the races prancing,

Flash loves to train, wants a job and is athletic. Would be well suited for further training by his new owner & coach in English Equitation, Hunter /Dressage or Western Pleasure / Working Equitation /Western Dressage / Trail Riding .

If horse/ human connection for well - being is your passion , Flash is well suited for Equine Assisted Wellness therapy or the NEW Liberty discipline - recognized class in the Thoroughbred Makeover competition.

Not all thoroughbreds are meant to be racehorses - so his owner has always been realistic "to do what's right for the horse " and find the right match in a 2nd career and forever , caring home .

His OTTB older half brother was retrained in Dressage and now is also a proven jumper in an appreciated & caring home - connecting with his rider.
