This beautiful blanketed Appaloosa is 10 years old and a solid 15 hands. Badger is a fearless trail horse. He will tackle any obstacle you throw at him. (read more) He is super sure footed, always knows where is feet are and practically never trips or distracted on the trail. He has a good average pace, and walks out nicely. Badger will go anywhere you aim him in the hills and has seen the wildlife, trees, brush, and creeks. Badger is also a very nice arena horse will lope pretty circles, carries his head evenly, and respects ques softly. Responds to leg commands, as well as one hand or direct rein. To top it off he has extremely smooth gates. This horse would be very competitive in ranch versatility as well as any trail classes, and could without a doubt bring you home a champion! Or has the mind to just be your family companion weekend rider trail partner. He will excel in any type of situation you put him in. He will walk over teetering bridges, step in a plastic pool of water walk, walk through the car wash, cross over tires with ease, and walk over poles without hesitation. He was used to pony race horses and is absolutely used to the bright lights and loud noises. He is very traffic safe and sane. He has seen the ball, tarps and flags it. This horse is absolutely safe and gentle to be around. He clips, ties ,bathes and is great for the vet and worming.
