Allow me to introduce you to Apple Jack! A beautiful, stout 14.1hh, 9 year old Haflinger gelding with the sweetest puppy dog personality. He will run to greet you in the field and loves attention. He is the golden retriever of the horse world and has completely stolen our hearts!
Apple Jack is a pro on the trails, goes right through water and doesn’t get rattled by new things. He is the safest trail horse you’ve ever met!... (read more) He has experience as a Pony Club eventer, has been to rally’s, local shows, fox hunting, hunter paces, trail rides, church picnics and schools for pony rides and overnight camping trips. He is the same horse off property as he is at home. He will hit the trail alone or with a group. You can pony another horse from him, or pony him! This boy LOVES to jump!! He is currently jumping at 2’3 and while I would consider him still green to jumping he definitely has potential to go higher.
He’s a stunner and always grabs everyone’s attention with his long, shimmering mane and tail. He has been ridden Western and English, gets along great with other horses and is an easy keeper. He leads, loads, clips, cross-ties, bathes, stands for the farrier and does it all with ease!
When we have friends, family or little ones over Apple Jack is our go to horse! He is current on Coggins, De-worming, all vaccinations and just had his teeth done. All of our horses here at the farm have been introduced to heavy machinery, side by sides, tarps, balls, carrying the flag, small animals, wild life, wild children and more!
Apple Jack has been ridden by many different levels of riders. He is SO much fun as a teen or adults eventer/fox hunter, and can turn around the next day and give walk/trot lessons to the littlest of riders. He’s not your fast barrel horse, but he could do just about any other job out there that you need him to do. He’s just a great all around horse! We can’t wait to talk with you more about Apple Jack to see if he’s the right fit for what you are looking for in your next equine partner!
