Meet Hermit’s Expresso aka Mushu! Where do we begin?! Mushu is a 2019 Registered GVHS gelding who was imported from England a few years ago. He is 13.3 and STOUT! His Silver Bay color will get you noticed anywhere you go but the real magic is Mushu’s puppy dog personality. Truly, he is the most friendly, kind, charismatic horse ever. He runs to meet you at the gate eager for attention. Words can’t even describe Mushu because we are convinced he’s not really a horse haha!... (read more) Mushu has been under saddle since July of 2023 and has been started slowly, and properly. Mushu can WTC in both directions, side pass, ride solo or in a group in the ring, go bitless or in a snaffle, go over ground poles and has even done some tackless riding etc. He has a great foundation and can go further in many directions. Mushu loves liberty training and has learned some neat tricks! He likes to connect with his person and is a quick learner. He has recently been started over cross rails and seems to enjoy doing different things. Mushu has now had experience with Liberty, Trail Rides, Ground Driving, and local Shows! All of which he has done well! He loves the trail class along with halter and showmanship. He has also done a few lessons with some of my students and is good with other riders both adults and more advanced kids. Mushu is a gentle horse but of course only being 5 and under saddle a little over a year he is still green. He would be suitable for a teen working with a trainer or adult ammy. He is not bombproof because he’s 5 but I do think in a few years he will be! He still needs someone to guide him and I want him to go to a home that will continue to progress and develop him. He is a VERY special boy and anyone who has met Mushu knows this. He loads well, ties, is good for the farrier, bathing, etc. no issues with ground manners, good with other horses etc. He’s UTD on everything. Good home is A MUST!
