Jade is a 14.2 hand 21 year old quarter horse mare. Don’t let her age fool you, this girl loves to go. No kick or bite. Jade is very versatile, I've shown her english and also ran gymkhanas. She will jump and loves trail rides. She can lead and tail a trail ride and would also do just fine by herself. She should not be pastured alone unless she is neighboring another horse as she gets lonely. This girl is super tolerant and patient. She is willing to do anything if she trusts you.... (read more) Jade would be best suited with an intermediate rider or an advanced beginner with trainer help as she is very forward and likes to push the bit sometimes. She is great with kids on the ground and as a lead line pony. She loves to be let free in the arena and play. She went partially blind in her left eye 2 years ago so sometimes she needs an extra minute to assess new things, but otherwise isn’t affected by the blindness. She is the sweetest girl and is a fan favorite at the barn. She will come with everything that is hers. That includes 3 saddles (western, English, dressage) a saddle pad for each, a 3 tier saddle rack, both English and western bridal, her blankets, her halters and brushes. I want someone to love this girl just as much as I did. The only reason for sale is that I no longer have the time to spend with her. I’m a junior in high school, and a year round athlete. She just deserves more than I can offer.
