Lariat, affectionately known as “Larry,” is a 14-year-old 14.2 HH pony/draft cross gelding who is versatile and handy, has the buttons, and can go in any direction.... (read more) Recently, Larry has been used to working cattle on the ranch, carrying flags in the prestigious WYO rodeo, trail riding in the mountains, driving buggies, and enjoying riding. With his cute and forward movement under the saddle, we believe he could excel as an all-around hunter pony! He has been started over trot poles and low cross rails and naturally rates his strides with ease.

Larry has large and strong feet, is an easy keeper, and has a fun personality. Take this fella for long weekend trips up the mountain, ranch all day on him, or clean him up and go show and bring home ribbons at weekend horse shows! Larry is not suitable for beginner or timid riders but would be best suited for confident-intermediate to advanced riders as this fella has a motor to go and ride all day long and thrives having a job!

Larry stands for the farrier, easily loads and hauls, loves baths, and stands quietly to be clipped. He is excellent in new surroundings and will stand tied patiently all day long. He is current on all vetting, including vaccinations, coggins, and farrier work. He is currently shod all around due to being actively ridden on all sorts of terrain.
