'Copper' is a golden-red dun gelding. He’s 16.2 hands - big, bold, and athletic! I've been using Copper as a ranch horse - and he’ll move a herd - but he has a performance horse temperament. He'd thrive in a show arena, working equitation, or barrel racing with a savvy rider that could show off his athleticism. He had excellent early training, is very soft and works off the leg/seat. Collection, flying lead changes, etc just need some brushing up.... (read more) I would recommend him to an intermediate to experienced horseman or horsewoman. He has too much ‘go’ for a beginner and can get worked up when there is action.

He is easy to catch and has excellent ground manners - stands tied quietly, is good with his feet, fine with fly spray and bathing. Loads and trailers easily. He wants to please but isn’t pushy and has never offered to kick or bite. Middle of the herd hierarchy. Easy keeper - he’s been pastured barefoot on rocky Wyoming & Colorado ranches.

Copper is sound, is UTD on shots. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.
