Erie is a 3 y/o American Warmblood mare (tbxspotted draft) I have everything for her to be papered but haven’t sent in her info to receive her papers yet.15.2 1/2hh and growing. She has been very lightly started wtc, over some tiny jumps etc. She had her first outing to a new place to do ground poles/small xrails in a clinic and she was perfect. Didn’t bat an eye at any passing cars, bicycles, motorcycles, etc. half of her “rides” are me jumping on bareback in her rope halter and hacking around the property.... (read more) She was started with construction going on at the farm, and doesn’t mind any loud noises/banging etc. she’s been the ‘rock’ leading baby tbs around the property on hacks while they’re nervous and flighty. super easy mare to get along with, low on the pecking order, stays far on air. Has a wonderful uphill canter, however does need more balance work- which is very typical out of a young green horse, especially one who is being very lightly ridden. She does load & trailer well, though she gets a little antsy by herself until you get moving and then she settles right down. If she has friends on the trailer she’s happy to stand and hang out with them. She ties, x ties, leads, bathes, stands for the farrier & vet. I have even ponied other horses off of her bareback and she doesn’t bat an eye. I really like this mare and am in no rush to sell her! She’s got the brains everyone is looking for as well as the beauty! Pm for more info or with any questions
