BLUEBELL is a 7 yr old, Blue Roan, Percheron/Quarter Horse cross, standing 16.1 hands, possessing the poise and confidence of one destined to be great! She rides English & Western, an experienced trail mount, started over jumps, gun safe, and is also trained to drive. Bluebell would suit a variety of programs.
On the trail, Bluebell has a more whoa that go style. She will confidently lead the pack, yet is perfectly content to follow. She sure-footedly navigates the terrain with ease. Goes through water, up and down steep slopes, over down brush. She will go wherever she is pointed. She is not herd bound. An enjoyable ride alone or in a group.
Bluebell is started over jumps. With her athleticism & scope, I feel she would excel in that discipline.
Under harness, Bluebell stands to hook. She has been lady driven. She is unbothered by passing traffic.
Bluebell stands for mounting & dismounting. With the twirl of your rein, she will sidepass to the mounting block or even a long on the trail for you to get on. She will stand patiently after mounting until you ask her to walk off.
At home, Bluebell is pleasurable to have around. She is easy to catch. She pastures with both mares and geldings alike, no issues. Can be stalled as well, always neat & tidy. She stands tied/cross-tied, stands for bathing, & for the farrier. She is currently shod due to our rocky terrain, but can go barefoot as well.
Bluebell has been exposed and is comfortable around children, four wheelers, dogs, farm equipment, & other livestock.
