Roo is an 11yo 15.1 hand unraced TB mare looking for her next brave kid (or petite adult) that wants to do it all! We purchased Roo as an 8 year old for my 10 year olds first pony club mount. Together they have done dressage, show jump and eventing rallies, many starter trials, 3 seasons of fox hunting, hunter paces, XC derbies and pony camp. Roo loves XC and Fox Hunting and is so brave; ditches, banks, water, hounds... nothing phases her. Roo is great for the farrier, trailers well and will happily stand tied all day at a show.... (read more) She has been to Pony Club Champs the past two years. In 2023 they travelled to Tryon where Roo won the first place individual equitation SJ round. In July 2024 they traveled to Kentucky Horse Park, an 11 hour trailer ride followed by 5 days in a stall and she performed and behaved so well getting a double clear on XC day and knocking just one pole on her second to last jump of the week placing in the top 10 individually and helping the team win 1st! Roo has schooled novice and competes BN but does not want to go higher than that which is the reason it is time for my daughter to find her next partner. Roo is not a lesson horse and not for beginners, but is the perfect match for a confident kid with a trainer. Some maintenance required. A perfect match for Roo is most important to us, so price is negotiable to the perfect next partner.
