Brutus as we call him is a registered Gypsy Vanner gelding standing 15 hands tall and is as wide as he is tall!

Brutus spent most of his life in Florida as the family guest trail horse. His main job was to pack beginners all around the property. He came to Oklahoma and has spent a few years in our program. He has been hauled and exposed to ropings, rodeos, parades, and most all livestock. No matter where you unload Brutus he is the same big slow horse he was at home. He is not barn or buddy sour. He saddles up and leaves the barn without any hesitation.
He is great out on the trails or on the ranch. He crosses logs, water, trenches, and brush with ease and confidence. He will trot and lope circles both directions. He will also move over to open gates. He also stands still to be mounted.
Brutus has been ridden by all ages and is the same for everyone.
Brutus was recently broke to drive and took to it like a champ! The first day we drove him down the road and nothing ever bothered him.
He is good with tarps, loud noises and dogs.
He can be turned out with a group of horses and will not cause a problem in the herd. He is also mannerly when kept up in a stall.
Brutus is 100% gentle and sane in every way. It does not matter if you ride him everyday or once a year he will saddle right up and you can pick up where you left off. He does not require any lunging or fine tuning, just get on and go ride.
When tied up he stands quietly without a fuss.
Brutus stands quietly for the farrier and veterinarian.
