BOONE is a handsome 5 year-old gelding standing at a rider-friendly 15.3 hands. He is kid tested & mom approved! Beginner/kid safe and lesson program suitable!
Boone has the foundation, the experience, and the potential to be taken in any direction. He rides English, Western, & Bareback. He is experienced and comfortable both on the trail and in the arena. He has an unload and ride anywhere style. He rides the same no matter the setting. Boone lopes circles on a loose rein in the correct lead both directions, side passes, spins, neck reins or direct reins depending on rider preference, moves off leg pressure, stops, & backs. Boone is also trained to lay down from the ground or from his back. Even though Boone is equipped with all the fancy buttons he shows patience with inexperienced riders and children. He is safe for the very most beginner riders, yet an enjoyable mount for those more experienced.
On the trail, Boone confidently goes where he is pointed. Crosses water, downfall, and navigates rough terrain with ease. He is not herd-bound, an enjoyable ride, alone or with a group. Boone has undergone extensive desensitation training. He is unfazed by tarps, gunfire, & carries the flag. He is exposed daily & comfortable around children, traffic, farm equipment, dogs, and other livestock.
Boone is a true pleasure to have around. His friendly, easy going personality makes him a barn favorite. He’s easy to catch. He follows me to the barn every morning. He loves to be groomed. He loads & unloads like a perfect gentleman, hauls like a dream. He stands tied/cross tied, for bathing, for mounting, and for the farrier. Boone is a very easy keeper. He is perfectly content living outside 24/7 or he can be kept in a stall. He is always neat & tidy. He turns out in a mixed herd zero issues.
