Cuttin My Sage Te, aka Sage, is a 3 year old quarter horse filly. She is 15 hands, should mature around 15.2. She's up to date on shots and coggins. Sage was started as a late two year old.
She's been ridden most by a intermediate teenager, under the guidance of a trainer. Sage took him to his and her first show, and they placed third in a walk trot ranch class in a decent size youth group. She w/t/c, has never offered to buck or rear.... (read more) She's had a rope thrown off her, she's trotted and loped the barrel pattern. We've just had fun exposing her to lots and playing around with different sports. She's not finished on anything, but is ready to start. She has the build and demeanor to do most english and western sports. She has half siblings that have done rodeo and hunter jumpers.
She has great ground manners, and has a puppy dog personality. She's one to meet you at the gate, and has no problem being caught. She tacks up great, and loads in the trailer no problem. She doesn't mind baths or being hosed off. She knows how to lunge, back up, and disengage hindquarters. She will disengage forequarters, but with some effort. She's one that would have no problem becoming fancy with the right training. She loves people and wants to please. With more experience I think she would make a bomb proof kids horse with a lot of athletic ability.
