Looking for a cool project?? This is it!
Maurice, also known as Aladdin, is a 9-year old registered Arabian gelding. He has a kind personality and has a silly, goofy side. He will find his own sources of entertainment if he does not have a job, such as stealing keys out of ATV ignitions and running off with them. Aladdin is ready to find his person!
Aladdin has been with me for almost 30 days now exploring riding out in the open, through mud puddles, riding back roads, and arena work!... (read more)
Before me he completed 64 days of training under saddle in Colorado and had 59 rides in that time. He was described during his stay as the perfect gentleman.
Aladdin has excellent bloodlines, stands nicely for the farrier, and loads in a trailer like a champ. He has been ridden English and Western and has been ridden by a twelve year old who is an experienced rider. Aladdin is still green. He has never offered to buck or rear. Most of his training has been in a round pen or arena, but he has been ridden and hauled around recently to new exposures. He had ridden past 4 wheelers, flags, etc. But he will need more exposure to those kinds of experiences but has done very well so far. I think he prefers to ride out in the open or on trails. He definitely relies on his rider for confidence but is becoming very comfortable in his own skin. Would recommend for an intermediate or experienced rider. Aladdin definitely builds a bond with his person and grows with continuous work. He also LOVES water and riding through puddles! He is a more go than whoa type of horse. But has a BIG stop!!
Aladdin is a lucky boy! Several years ago, after his owner passed away, he was caught up in an estate dispute for a long period of time. Once the estate was settled and assets were free to be liquified, he got dumped at an auction and then found himself in a kill pen. A rescue saved him and he stayed there for three years until his new owner decided to take him and give him the training he deserved so he could then find his forever person. The time is now!
Aladdin is sound and is ready to go any direction you want to take him. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.
The owner is requiring a buy back contract to be signed just in case something were to not work out.
I have really enjoyed training him and watching him grow confidence. He has been quite fun with all of his quirks and personality!
