Rama is a 6-year-old, 15.2-hand registered quarter horse who rides English or Western. He was raised as a western performance horse in Iowa, but I’ve been riding him English for the last 2 years. He walks, trots and canters and has been started over crossrails. He's also started learning how to barrel race. He’s not spooky, and he’s an old hand with sheep, cows, chickens, flapping tarps, umbrellas and construction machinery.... (read more) He walks placidly through creeks and over gymnastics mats. He's a beginner horse in the indoor arena, but he's athletic and eager when outdoors, and would suit an intermediate rider on trails. He rides out alone with no problem.

Rama has lovely manners on the ground and is a barn favorite for his easygoing personality. He gets along with others at turnout and wanders over in the pasture to have his halter put on when it’s time to ride.

He turned 6 in April and is up to date on shots and wormer. In Northeastern Vermont. Msg me for video.
