Leo is a 15.1 hand, 14 year old John mule. Leo is a get on and go do kind of mule. He is excellent on the trails. There isn’t a bank to steep for him to go down. He nicely steps over logs and through ditches. He is very careful on more technical trails.... (read more) He is careful with his foot placement and very sure footed. He rides through cattle quietly and comfortably. Leo has a very nice rocking chair kind of lope. He rides one handed. He handles ponying other horses/or mules with ease. He has a nice ground covering walk to get you down the trail comfortably. He is traffic safe and doesn’t mind riding around farm equipment as well. He is comfortable with gunfire around him and we have shot off of him multiple times with ease. He would make an excellent hunting mule as he is confident to ride where you ask, no matter the terrain. He ties out on the high line and has been on camping trips many times before. He rides out alone or in a big group. Leo is the type of mule you can really enjoy whether you need to get work done or just go out for a relaxing ride. Don’t miss out on a big,safe, and fun mule!
