Mav is a true gentle giant and not only is he easy on the eyes but he’s got a great resume to go with all the good looks.... (read more) This gelding is a ranch favorite at our place and is the definition of a true using horse. Mav is always up for any job that’s asked of him even when it’s crazy kids riding him triple and double and swimming in the pond to cool off. When the kids are done with him he will happily go on and work for you the rest of the day out on the ranch. Whether it’s gathering, doctoring or sorting in the pens he can do it all. Mav stays level headed and quiet even in the most chaotic situations and keeps you and himself safe. He is extremely easy to operate and would fit any level rider. If you are looking for a trail partner he fits that’s job as well. Mav will go through any obstacle with ease. He has been down in the swamps and slews and heavy brush and handled himself like the gentleman he is. This gelding is truly a joy to ride with his smooth jog and rocking chair lope. Mav doesn’t get hot and will happily come right back down to a walk. If you are looking for a gelding that will fit your entire family this guys the one. On the ground he is quiet and well mannered for a grooming, bathing and saddling. He has good feet and stands for the farrier.
