Kidd is a finished true all around gelding. Be sure to watch his full video! He has been hauled and exhibitioned on barrels, is a jam up pole horse with minimal exposure, and has been in training the past 8 months in heel and break away. Kidd has been hauled to see the sites since he was just a 2 year old. He has been a million miles to lots of different arenas, ranches, and rodeos. (read more) That being said, Kidd has been set up since day one to be amazing! This sweet guy truly has the best demeanor and is always safe even with time off. Kidd has a huge heart and truly wants to please no matter what the task is at hand. He has been day worked on and worked feedlots as well so he isn’t just an arena horse. He will go anywhere you point him with no hesitation. Water, roads, through town, bridges, steep mountain sides, you name it. Kidd is safe for anyone that knows how to ride and would be a PERFECT all around youth horse. My son loves to cool him out for me. Kidd stands just a little above 14.3 hands and is still growing as a coming 5 year old so should finish out right at or under 15.0 hands. Both his sire and dam who I still own are solid built and made to last. Kidd is incredibly cowy, probably the most cowy horse I have ever sat on and LOVES to work cattle. He was turning back cows on his own at just a year old (I have videos). He has been sorted on and is an absolute blast!! He has never been injured, doesn’t require any maintenance, and has never been sick. If “healthy as a horse” was ever a true statement, it would apply to this horse. Kidd does well stalled or out in the pasture. He is easy to catch and has a great personality!! I absolutely love this horse but he deserves to go do big things for someone. The last horse I posted of his caliber sold within 12 hours so if you’re looking for a young, broke, and SAFE horse to take you to the pay window in any chosen event, this is your guy!! Kidd is utd on absolutely everything and requires no special maintenance. He is an incredibly easy keeper and just a pleasure to own.

Gehring Performance Horses

I took a bit of a break after having my son and sold several personal horses. That being said, I have missed training so will be keeping a few at a time, just not at many as before with a wild little toddler to chase around now. We take pride in offering high quality performance horses as well as family friendly trail companions. Everything that steps foot on this place has to be 110% safe under saddle as well as on the ground because my little boy thinks they all can be drug around the same as his ponies.... Our horse are never just arena horses, they are ridden on the roads and through town, by multiple riders including my toddler, are hauled everywhere to ride because there is no riding facility at my place with all the rock. My son loves to lead them around on foot, on his bike, or even from one of his many battery operated vehicles. A great mind no matter their job is always our first priority!!
