Does anyone need a stunning mare before we get too much further into breeding and riding season? Life is taking me in a different direction for now.
Rune aka Mystery Lady (RMHA #2009042396) is a 16 y/o Rocky mare, sticked at a smidge over 15hh, with great foundation breeding up close with her grandfathers being none other than direct sons of Tobe: Yankee and Sam Clemon’s Tim! She is genetically tested, 5 panel clear (just for good measure ?... (read more) ) and EE Aa which means she can only produce black and bay based foals. Perfect to pair to your silver stallions.
Rune has been primarily a broodmare for us, producing a bay roan colt (Talon) in 2023, with off and on riding for the past two years. However, she is a steady Rocky so I pulled her out having not ridden her for months and started trail riding her by herself! Rune didn’t miss a beat and will only get better with more consistent ride time. She crosses water, is fine with traffic, and would rather stop and look at something than actually spook. I would say intermediate riders and up for her. Potentially, a beginner working with a trainer could do well.
She has great bone and barefoot hooves that every farrier has loved. She is boss mare of our herd.
Her thorough PPE from her purchase in 2022 and her full color and disease testing are available. She is open.
