Shorty is a healthy teenager, who is looking for a home of his own. He is 14.3hh and is a solid, sweet horse with a ton of personality. He is my #1 go to horse for trail riding with kids (on with me). Really, anyone, who knows how to stop a horse (and can) from walking off for food.. Can ride him.
He is not a dead head. He is not a total beginner horse. He will pony kids, ride out on any road, creek, lake, trail with kids on him and be bomb proof, as long as they can stop a horse, from a fast walk (and/or circle), to any hay laying around, while waiting for the adults to jump on.... Pros: Sure footed, sound, clean legs and hooves, natural trim on schedule, trailers great (loads/unloads), Bomb proof on the trails; Goes through water, traffic, garbage trucks, wildlife and dogs without a flinch. Coggins 2024, Health Cert 10/2023. Vet Check/PPE done 05/2024 and passed with flying colors for soundness and health. UTD on vaccinations, Deworming and Teeth electric float done 2/2024. Shorty has a smooth jog, then trot. He is dead broke, but not fancy broke. He has been a trail horse his entire life.
*His current riding level is a strong Advanced beginner and up (As per above). *

Cons: He does not like a tight rein, not a con, but new riders tend to pull, he will shake his head. He may need a buddy to ride out at first when relocated to a new location, until he trusts his rider. I added this, because we just moved to a new barn, but with all of the herd. He did not want to ride out alone with a new person at first. Now fine. If, you trailer him out off property, he rides fine alone.

We will take him back anytime for any reason throughout the rest of his life. We love this horse. He is ridden 3-4 times a week. We have tons of pictures and videos.
