Gable is a 4 year old registered AQHA stallion prospect by our late stallion “Bubba”- Dandy Docs Boy. Bubba was a grandson of Doc Bar on the topside and a great grandson of Docs Solano on the bottom side. Gable’s dam “Spook”- Money For Jazz, was by Spooks Jazzman (by Greys Starlight who was by Peppy San Badger and out of Docs Rey Jay who was by Doc Bar). Her sire was Lena Money (by Gold Lena who’s sire was Doc O Lena) and her dam was Smoke Money who’s sire was the famous Mr.... (read more) Gunsmoke.
This colt is phenomenally bred and built right. He’s smart and EXTREMELY athletic. He got put on the backburner because he was a “late bloomer” but he is now filling out beautifully and is ready to start under saddle. I do not have the time (or the best facilities for a third stallion) currently. I planned originally to keep Gable- as he’s the last colt by my beloved old guy Bubba- BUT, it is just not a good time right now. That being said, I am potentially looking for a home where he will be shown and/or used to his full potential- even if its as a ranch horse vs a “show” horse- and one that will allow me to reaerve a few (ai) breedings to him as part of his purchase price. I would really like to preserve his sire’s lines and legacy.
Gable stands about 14.2 and is as wide as he is tall- he is an absolute BRICK HOUSE. He has an absolutely beautiful head, gorgeous neck, huge sloping hip and nice bone with good feet. He is easy to catch, leads, ties, clips, bathes etc. He has been round penned some- but not saddled yet- if i start working him under saddle his price WILL increase!
Please don’t come at me because he is 4 and not started- he was a smaller colt who thanks to the extra time has grown out BEAUTIFULLY and is now mature enough and sound to start under saddle. I know i made the right choice in waiting.
He is panel tested (and both parents were tested and clean as well),dna’d and everything is ALREADY ON FILE with AQHA. The ONLY other thing he would need is an utd coggins and/or health certificate. (PPE is also welcome at YOUR expense- and he is available for in person viewing etc as well)
All these photos were taken today- 6-4-2024. He is EXACTLY as shown- no filters, no editing of photos- just HIM- unaltered.
He is not “cheap” but he is priced very reasonably for what he is. Please, SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY- i do not have any more time for “tire kickers” (and please dont inquire if you have to ask your sister’s husband’s aunt for permission to buy him- get permission BEFORE you inquire?)!
Below is the allbreedpedigree link- and yes i have his papers in hand and can pm those as well as photos of his parents- as i owned both for years. . .
Asking 7✋oo- with special consideration to the perfect home with a few (future) reserved breedings to him.
