Mare:
Rosie: 15h▪️ 16 years old▪️ located in east Tennessee
I'm putting my girl up for consideration, this mare loves the trails and I absolutely have tried wearing her out and still haven't managed to. If I'd let her she would run the entire trail ride. She crosses water, bridges, downed trees, absolutely isn't spooky handles things in stride. She's a strong minded mare so I wouldn't advise for young kids.... (read more) But she's soild. I have click cues I use when riding she's a fast learner and can be impatient but that's being worked out. She can be a pain with the farrier If she's in a mood that day. She's had shoes on since I've had her. Anything I ask she is willing to do. I can pluck her from a 25 acre field with just hollering for her. I don't ever have to have feed on me she follows like a dog into the barn. She has a nice gate and when asked she will gallop. She's a mare that demands your best and she'll give you everything she's got. She's been to east fork camp, lone mountain, catoosa, big south fork, spruce creek and ridden in this past years christmas parade and didn't bat an eye! I've put in many many hours working and training this mare she always puts a smile on everyone's faces when she "does that thanngg" easy keeper and she's trail ride ready! up to date on coggins vaccines and was just shod.
