For your consideration. Please read the whole ad before commenting or sending me a message. Vegas is 22 years old (23 on 7/26/24) black and white APHA mare standing approximately 15hh. I have owned her for the past 6 years. She needs an experienced rider. She is not a child or beginner’s horse! She has been on a few trail rides in the past to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor and to Popham Beach State Park. She is spicy and has an attitude that is not for the faint of hearts.... (read more) But her bark is bigger than her bite. She does fine turned out with other mares and geldings, but can also be the boss sometimes. She also doesn’t mind being out by herself. She has respect for electric fencing. She is not the kind of horse that can be stalled all day long. She is in at night but loves to be out. She has been barefoot and does great with the farrier and vet. It is time for her to find a new person to thrive with as I do not have enough time to spend with her. I will be extremely picky on where she goes. I will definitely be doing reference checks, so please be prepared to give vet, farrier and personal references. I do not have to sell her and am not in a hurry. She is completely up to date on everything. Price is in the mid $2k range. She is located in Smithfield ME.
