Trump's Jewel! I purchased this horse sight unseen and had her shipped to me. The old owner told me she was a beginner safe barrel horse. I got scammed! She arrived emanciated, had ulcers, and was terrified. I decided there was no sending her back and I decided to try and rehab her! It took me a year to heal her guts and get her weight to a ridable weight. I got full x-rays. Her right hock is fuzing and I got her injected. I rode her on my own for three months before she flipped over on me and injured my leg and ankle (all my fault).... (read more) After I recovered we started going to a mustang trainer twice a month and she blossomed! She was trained before but someone cowboyed and ran the piss out of her. She thought she had to run everywhere. After a month she was completely manageable. If you maintain constant contact with your outside rein and keep her balanced she will thrive. Today she is a different horse and ready for her forever home. Pros-trailers, bathes, traffic safe, good for the farrier, not Marish, good in a herd, dog safe, and loveable. Cons- Herd sour, has anxiety episodes, can be stand off ish while being caught, sore left hind. She will need to be injected because I'm noticing that hock getting sore again. I envision her new owner to be an old soul with a calm patient demeanor. Someone who wants to spend time with their horse, not just get on, ride her, put her away. Someone who wants to pamper and baby her. Someone who doesn't demand anything of her, but asked and understands her. She came from California so I would love for her to go back to a warm state. I did get her registered with her DNA! She is in Michigan. She will need ulcer medication for the transition to her new home. She up to date on all cares. I will be very flexible to the right home. Transport is available. She's stunning! God bless!
