2020 AHC Registered Appaloosa QH gelding. River stands at 16.2 with a stocky build. He is sound with no known injuries or maintenance. He is up to date. River gets along well in a mixed herd. He can be stalled or live out 24/7. He doesn’t crib, bite, kick, or weave. On the ground, River is a gentleman. He is friendly and stands well to be tied, clipped, bathed, and for the vet/farrier. He is easy to catch and loads/trailers well.... (read more) Undersaddle, River is more whoa than go. He stands quietly to be mounted by a block or from the ground. He rides both english and western. River has a solid walk trot canter undersaddle. He picks up both leads easily and backs well. River is started over fences and currently starting small courses. He is honest to a jump. His changes are started but need finishing. He has been hauled off property and done great. He trail rides alone or in a group. He crosses water, bridges, traffic, and is used to dogs/cows.
No buck rear spook or bolt. We could see him excelling as a hunter or hunt seat prospect.
