Murphy the Cat: a 5yr old 16+hh unraced gelding. Track trained and with one recorded work, Murphy just was not cut out for running. He came to the farm in late November, and sat for the winter. With the sporadic weather, I've only had the chance to ride him once, so far. He tacked up with no issues, lunged quietly, and stood to be mounted, but you can tell he is unsure of what is expected, and needs more mileage and consistency (trust).
