Oakley May is a 16.1-2 TB Mare (17) who excels in jumping. She jumps up to 3’6 easily, no special approach or aids needed. Doesn’t refuse. Goes over poles nicely. Extends, collects, picks up leads, walk to canter; halt to canter, should ins, leg yields. She needs a confident rider to ride her upper levels but does well for beginners on a lead line. She has had people from the ages of 8-72 ride her! She’s very gentle with little ones, but knows how to teach more experienced riders to level up.... (read more) She has more whoa then go, depending on the riders hands and seat. I have ridden her bridleless and with no reins. Knows how to slightly neck rein. Jumps beautifully, knows how to find a distance. She is a seal brown (dark bay) color, easy keeper. One alfalfa one grass morning and night, I have her on a triple crown grain in addition but not needed. She is very loving with the right person!
