Trooper is a calm, safe, experienced, extremely smooth gaited FINISHED trail horse with a medium speed walk and gait. Can also do
gate-a-lope and canter. Very versatile. He can trail ride with Quarter Horses or Gaited horses. He will go in the front, middle or back. He has a puppy dog personality and loves to be petted and groomed. Not aggressive with other horses and is low man in the pasture.... (read more) Has been ridden extensively around farm, on day rides, and overnight camping trips throughout south central PA and MD. Excellent trail horse. Hi-lines, stands for vet and farrier, easy to catch, stands for tacking and mounting, self-loads on trailer, excellent ground manners, very cooperative. Has been traveled with extensively so is good with new places and horses.

UTD on teeth, shots, worming, Coggins, farrier. Wears simple keg shoes on all 4 feet during riding season. Barefoot over winter and wears simple front trail boots when trailering out for day ride. Great feet.
