♠️ two id gambler ♠️ aka gunner. Gunner is a long yearling (turns 2 in may). He’s such a sweet horse and super goofy he likes to play with the feed pans out in the pasture and sticks. He stands tied on the trailer, tie post,tree, and round pen. He stands quietly no pawing or whinnying. He could stand tie all day and night if you wanted him to. He might move around a little bit but what horse doesn’t especially for his age.... (read more) He stands quietly for the farrier. The only thing is he can be a little mouthy but won’t bite it’s usually just licking and moving his lip around mainly when he’s getting his feet done. He lunges on the lunge line he prefers a lunge line as that’s what I started him with when we were boarding him somewhere that didn’t have a round pen.
He can be lazy sometimes but just takes a little more encouragement to get him to move faster mainly when it’s something he’s done before multiple times and he knows what it is. He loves to learn new things but I just don’t have the time to work him anymore. He’s gonna be the type of horse that wants to have a job even if it’s just trail he’s gonna be the type that wants to stay moving changing speed going faster going slower just stay moving and working. We had a load of sand put in our round pen at home and ended up climbing over it with ease and rolling all in it. If you want a horse that will do cow work he’ll probably do it once you put those buttons on him after you break him. We have chickens that free range sometimes and he tends to like to chase them not out of meanness just curiosity same with cats and dogs. He respects a wire fence as long as he knows it shocks. He yields his hindquarters on the ground. Ive been teaching him the come get me trick (he’s still learning). He backs up good on the ground. And I’ve been teaching him to square up like he’d be judged like he’s in halter but he’s not a halter horse and has never been shown in halter. He does have some quirks but nothing terrible just pm me for more info on his quirks. But he has worn a saddle no bucking or rearing a little nervous but that’s expected. He’s super smart and willing (too smart for his own good at times). He loads on a trailer with ease and backs off too. He stands about 14.2/14.3 right now and should mature to 15.2/15.3.
