Beautiful, healthy haflinger gelding for sale. Armani is a strong and sturdy horse standing at about 14.1 hands. He has a very gentle spirit and loves attention. He is calm around dogs and cats.
He would be best suited for an intermediate or experienced rider. He has done some jumping and I'm sure he could continue to progress with some consistent training. Unfortunately, I am not able to keep up with him now that I am away at college.... (read more) I would not suggest him for a beginner. He has a lot of energy and a quick pace. (Typical Haflinger) On trails he prefers to follow and rarely spooks. I've ridden him English, Western, bareback, and bit-less. I have put kids on him. As long as he has a side walker or someone to follow he will go nice and slow with them. However, he does need an experienced rider in the ring or on trails. He can be heavy on the bit and hard to slow down in the open field. He is pretty sensitive to cues and will never need a heel kick to get going. A simple mouth click or seat movement can get him moving.

I am confident he could get back to jumping like he was 2 years ago. He just needs someone who can be consistent. He would also be perfectly happy just being a trail horse. He loves attention and is very safe on the ground.

He was seen by the dentist and vet last summer. They both agree he is very healthy. He has a scar on one eye from a burr injury but he doesnt seem to be affected. They estimated that he is 15 years old. He is barefoot and gets regular trimmings. He currently has his fluffy red winter cost but it will shed to a light tan in the summer.
We do not have a trailer so moving will be the buyers responsibility.
