The foundation of our breeding program involves outcrossing our exceptional herd of Spotted Saddle Horse mares with the best racking horse stallions. Combine the best bloodlines with the extensive daily handling and attention our foals receive at the ranch, and the result is a spectacular, extraordinary horse, such as Cash. Few breeders spend as much time with their foals as we do.
At less than 1 month old, Cash can be haltered, is leading well, picking up his feet, and being brushed and fly sprayed. Cash was born on March 9, 2024. This flashy bay and white colt is calm, easy, friendly, smart, and will be a racking machine. We expect him to mature to about 15 hands, and SSHBEA registration is pending. Cash will be a very versatile horse and can go in any direction. He will excel on the trail and in the show ring. Cash is also an excellent distance horse prospect.
Since going to a good home is very important to us, we will be as flexible as we can on terms. Payment plans and boarding after weaning are available, and a good, forever home is a must. We require that our weanlings be shipped with a companion by the DOT approved shipper that uses an air-ride rig.
Bring your horse and stay at Spotted Dance Ranch located just outside of Brooksville, Florida and adjacent to the Croom Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest, one of the premier horseback riding locations in Florida!! Ride a few hundred feet down a quiet, dirt path to access miles and miles of scenic Croom horse trails. We offer full accommodations for your living quarters horse trailer or RV, or you can rent our cozy Cowboy Cottage.... We can accommodate small groups, horse clubs, and special events in our main area (up to 25 horses), and we have a primitive camping area and parking area for large events. Day-use parking is also available. We are also a boutique breeder of Spotted Saddle Horses, breeding our herd of high-quality mares to only the finest stallions. Our mares and foals get the finest care possible, and our foals are handled many times a day from birth. We are currently breeding our well-bred Spotted Saddle Horse mares to the multi-world champion, speed racking stallion, The Gravedigger, and the world champion Kentucky Mountain Horse stallion, Holy Smoke. One to two foals are available for sale every year.
