Kiwiana “Kiwi” is a 2016 16.1hh chestnut TB mare. Kiwi was restarted in 2021 as a foxhunter but has a very strong resume as a jumper or eventer. Thus far Kiwi has shown great potential as an eventer, competing at Stable View through Beginner Novice. Kiwi has proven to be very brave and willing, she jumps ditches, crosses water, goes up/down banks, and is currently working on corners and skinnies. Hacks out alone or in a group, much prefers small groups and being up front!... (read more) She’s a natural leader and will not “suck back” to stay with the herd. 3 balanced gaits, auto changes, willing personality, and plenty of scope to go higher with the right partner. Perfect for a young professional, adult amateur, or talented junior in a program.

Hunted regularly from 2020-2023 with Lowcountry Hunt as a whipper-in’s mount. In 2023 she rode in the field at Belle Meade opening and participated in the Aiken Hound Christmas Hunt.

Kiwi enjoys turnout with minimal stall time, she eats Pro Elite senior feed and is supplemented with 1 flake of Orchard/Alfalfa hay once a day and Platinum Performance Osteon. Kiwi is on a 12-week chiropractic schedule and receives body work once a month. Owner will cover all regular maintenance (supplements, vet work, etc.). Off site riding opportunities will be available at additional cost.

Lessons available at additional cost but may be required as part of lease depending on rider level.

Located in Guyton, GA – available for onsite half lease (2 rides/week).

Kiwi is available for lease due to owner working on bringing a second horse into competition fitness. Kiwi has been owned by Caitlynn since 2020 and been an excellent partner. Caitlynn will continue to ride/school/compete with Kiwi during the terms of the lease. If at any point leasee wants to move to a full lease, that can be made available for the right situation.

Buck Acres

Buck Acres is a private barn in Guyton, GA that caters to foxhunters. Boarders and lease clients have the opportunity to hunt with multiple GA and SC hunts through the season and trail ride in the off season.
