Looking for a spring/summer project pony?

Junebug is a coming 4yo pony mare, born on our farm in Harrogate, TN on June 2, 2020. She is dark brown/bay, almost black, and is 12.2hh. She was trained by an adult rider and then was ridden by a 9yo during the summer of 2023. She had no bad habits and was ridden in the arena, in the fields/on the trail, and down a gravel road. She is kid safe to handle on the ground. Always the first to the gate and easy to catch, she can be haltered and led by a child.... (read more) She isn't spooky on the ground or under saddle, and is used to a child running and playing near her. Stands quietly to be groomed and is good for baths. No health or soundness issues. No medical maintenance or special care.

She was given the winter off and then brought back in to sell this spring (we sold our farm). Since I started riding her a few weeks ago, she is feeling lazy and occasionally bucks. Therefore, I'm not selling her as kid safe, although she was over the summer when she was in work, and she is kid safe to handle on the ground. My recommendation is that she go to an intermediate or better rider who can put her in regular work and turn her back into the sweet child's pony that she was.
