Up for consideration: 2008 Grade TB mare. According to the person we purchased her from years ago, she is out of Mexican Connection by Storm Cat. “Lovely” is roughly a 16 year old grade TB mare (we don’t have papers so selling as grade) that was purchased from a retired jockey in Albany, NY. She is your typical hot-head strong natured TB mare that was lightly started a few years ago. She never made it to the track due to an old knee injury that seemed her an unsafe candidate to race, but has been cleared for normal work.... (read more) She is a natural jumper and would make an excellent horse with the right training. She had colic surgery back in 2021 and has a cosmetic scar on her read hind leg that does not affect her. She is cleared for all types of work from jumping to trail riding. However, you are welcome to vet check her if you are interested. She IS NOT for beginner rider, inexperienced horse owners or a candidate for a first time horse. She needs someone who has experience with the breed and working with strong willed horses. She would be a great project horse for a trainer or someone looking to work with a project. i will not sell her sight unseen or discuss prices until you meet her as i believe you should meet her before committing to her. We’re downsizing our herd and feel like she would excel with someone that is interested in riding her as we do not have the time to bring along another project.
