10 year old TB gelding casually looking for a new home. He is a awesome horse. Totally sound and never been raced. Easy catcher when he is by himself but when with other horses it can be a challenge to catch him. He is good for the farrier. Used to load easily but had a small incident in the trailer so need to just keep working on that again. Stands 16 hands. Is ridden western. Has a very smooth canter when he is relaxed and balanced. He is a lot of work to slow down tho.... (read more) Not beginner safe due to that. I have had a few beginners on him just leading him around or having him on a lunge line and he did great. I'm just afraid he would insist on going his speed if he had the chance. He does good on trail rides. Just getting him tacked up off the property can be a challenge sometimes. I'm going to be taking him to fun shows this summer starting April so hopefully will start making more progress with the loading and being calm off property.
All he needs is a calm but assertive person. Asking 5k but like I said I am not in a hurry to sell. Will wait to find "his" person. Located in Myerstown.
