“Chances Are Good”, a.k.a., “Chance”, is a 2001 sorrel overo APHA gelding with two blue eyes and a flaxen mane and tail. Chance is looking for his next kiddo to pack around. He is the ultimate been-there, done-that kind of show horse. Chance has been my rock and partner for the last six + years, not only hauling all over the south together showing, but also giving lessons to my kiddos. He does all of the trail, horsemanship, showmanship, etc.... (read more) and LOVES the rail classes. We have won countless buckles, ribbons, and even saddles together. Sadly I am switching over to the ranch pleasure and he is too nice to just sit. He acts just like a ten year old and has many years left of showing and riding. Chance would be the ultimate walk-trot packer for a youth in the open or paint shows. He will even trail ride! He has all the fancy show buttons you could want on one and the quietest temperament to match. Now for his only downfall and maintenance, Chance does have an old bowed tendon that is completely healed on his front left and price reflects this. If you warm him up on the lunge line for a few minutes before riding or showing he travels perfectly. I do keep him on the 100x Equine 3-in-1 joint, bone, joint, and connective tissue support supplement and he is shod all the way around. Other than the above, Chance is a very easy keeper and absolutely worth the maintenance for what he is. He is up to date on everything and I have many photos and videos.
