Fleygur from Red Feather Icelandics (born 2007) has been a true asset to our lesson program and the beloved partner of the same devoted owner for 12 years. Because of various life circumstances he is looking for a new home that will be as enamored with him as he deserves. Truly a golden temperament with endless patience and extreme bravery, he suits all types of riders. Happy to go forward but always only at the amount asked for, happy to slow down on a dime.... (read more) He is competitive on group rides, but manageably so. Fleygur would best suit someone looking for a horse to do some trail riding, and some arena or liberty work, as well as someone looking for a best friend. He has some light arthritis and summer eczema that is very manageable and is reflected in the price. We have specific and high standards for where this beloved gem goes.
