14 year old gaited trail horse. Has been on my property for about 5 years now and has been camping and ridden all over the state and used for lessons and leases with beginner level riders.
Has a nice gait as well as a comfortable canter.
Here at my facility and prior to us here he's been primarily been used as a "dude" ranch horse, carrying riders (of all levels) on the trails or being leased out to riders who come to my barn looking to trail ride.... (read more)
He has been used for beginner lessons as well as done lessons for disabled. He has been taken on large group rides, guided organized trail rides as well as local trail events and play days. He's seen it all.
Crosses water, been used to work cattle, been around dogs, goats, tractors, 4 wheelers, fireworks, gun shots etc.
He is same horse on and off property, easy to get along wtih, loads, unloads and can be left in the field for months at a time without concern. You can literally bring him right back in after several months of being off, throw the saddle on or ride him bareback right off into the woods!
My daughter and her friends have ridden him bareback and double in just a halter and taken him down to the river and all that way. He doesn't care and loves the attention. He's one you buy today and ride tomorrow!

Of the 60 horses on our property, he is probably one of the lowest maintenance and easiest to get along with. Which is what has secured his spot here so long.
He is currently leased out to an older lady at my barn and she trail rides him 1-2x per week but her life has taken a bit of a turn medically and she isn't able to continue riding him much longer, so he is for sale.
We MAY be open to another lease, but it would have to be an ONSITE lease. No EXCEPTIONS.
