Red On A Rose - 2008 TWHBEA Mare by Indigo Blue out of Isabel Blue. She is aprox 15.1-15.2 hands tall, homozygous for the roan gene and will always produce roan foals! She is currently pastured with and being bred to our main herd sire, Little John Lester, who is a son of McCurdy's Roan Lightning and double registered with TWHBEA & the McCurdy Association. He is my personal riding horse and is known for producing incredible foals with excellent minds and even better gaits.... (read more) Her foal will be eligible for McCurdy Registration as well once broke to ride. She has had 3 very nice homozygous roan foals by him (2 blue and 1 bay) as well as 2 nice gaited mule foals for us. She will stay at our farm until she is checked in foal with a heartbeat at no cost to buyer. This is as nice of a mare as you will find on the market right now and priced very reasonably as I am most concerned with her getting a great home. Her foal next year will pay for her! Deposit will hold her and balance will be due as soon as she checks in foal.
