Let me introduce you to the one and only horse you’ll need, Prince.
Prince is a rich sorrel grade gaited gelding standing 15hh, vet aged 13 years old, and as honest as you could want one. With his effortless maneuvers on the trail, crossing any and all obstacles you point him to, to his gentle demeanor, what more could you ask for? This is a gelding that can be ridden 100 times a year, or 2 and be the same horse everytime. He will work off of your leg, and has a nice neck rein to him.... (read more) Prince, also being the gentleman that he is, will sidepass over to a mounting block, log, or whatever it is you ask him to for him to be mounted. Prince has been ridden on thousands of trails, through many terrains and is road and traffic safe. He will take the lead on the trail or ride in the back, whatever you prefer to do at whatever pace. Has also been ridden with other gaited horses and quarter horses. He responds with a vocal woah, is not spooky, or flighty, no loops or holes with this guy. He has been owned and ridden by an older couple the past 5 years. Prince stands for the farrier, in cross ties, for baths, clipping, grooming, etc, and loads himself in the trailer. Pastures or stalls but does prefer to be in the pasture. Is not a hot headed horse in any way shape or fashion, just a go with the flow mentality. Prince will be suitable for an advanced beginner. I have taken Prince as my main trail Mount countless of times with my toddler seated in front or behind me, with never a worry. Prince is sure footed, and currently stands barefoot.
