13 year old Palomino QH gelding. Stands around 14.3h.

Was told he had papers but were lost before I purchased him. Said to be Smart Little Lena bred.

He is cold back so does much better after a good lunge…however I have tacked up many times and go straight out for a trail ride and he does well. At the beginning of lungeing, he will buck at a canter, same when riding.
I had the vet out for X-rays just to make sure there is nothing going on as his back seems a little sensitive to pressure sometimes.... (read more) He is too dense to get good views in past the withers.

Cash will need a rider that knows how to handle a horse. I’d say intermediate and up.

Very “cowy” and THICK. I’d say he’s worked with cows in the past but don’t have a lot of information on him. I have uncovered some good buttons with the little work I have done with him.

Leads great. He’s great with vet and farrier and loads well. Rides over bridges and thru water.

For someone that wants to put a bit of time in him, he could make a good potential barrel horse or play day horse. He’s got the knowledge in him and I think has had some good training at some point. He can be nervous and watchy but the more time you spend with him, he will relax and submit.

I’ll be very picky were he goes. Before I got him I think he was passed around a lot and not treated very well.

He needs a good tune up after sitting for the winter.
