Betsy is a 15.3h 16yo grade appendix bay mare. She is easy to catch, low on the totem pole and loads and stands tied great. She has been used as a trail horse most of her life and she will go where ever you point her head. She will walk through water, over logs, through ditches and is traffic safe! Took her to uwharrie for the weekend and she didn’t make a wrong step! High tied for the weekend and was rode by a beginner. She neck reins and moves off your legs well.... (read more) Will head out alone or in a group. No buck kick rear or bite. She definitely has some speed when asked of her. Only negative thing I would say about her is she will get a little prancy walking back to the barn when she gets close but it’s not bad at all. She is suitable for a beginner as long as they can steer and stop!
