“Sampson” is a 14 year old Belgian/Quarter horse gelding standing 16.1 hands high. This guy is a joy to be around. He is easy going and enjoys being groomed and pampered. He is quiet as a mouse in the barn and gets along well with both mares and geldings when turned out.
Sampson has three easy and comfortable gaits. He will ride around the arena all day or take you out for a nice relaxed trail ride!
On the trail, Sampson crosses mud, bridges, water, tree roots, red and more.... (read more) He will hack out alone or in a group and is never afraid to take the lead and show them how it’s down.
He is athletic and moves out easily which makes him best suited for a confident beginner and up. He loads, leads, and ties great. He will stand tied quietly on the trail for a picnic and is ready to get back to work when you are.
Under Harness, Sampson is just as nice! He stands to be harnessed and hooked. He will walk on easily when asked and stop and stand when asked. This guy is flashy under harness! He gets up in the bit without holding hard and has a nice steady walk and trot.
