Ziggy Stardust AKA Bowie is a 7 year-old 14.1 & 3/4hh (with shoes) double-registered AQHA/APHA gelding (registered name: Colonel Staremaster). He is currently ridden English, but was started Western (reining/trail riding).

He recently placed 2nd in the Starter (2’3″) division at his first horse trials, finishing on his dressage score. Goes in a snaffle for all three phases.... (read more)

Bowie has one and a half gorgeous blue eyes, and he is as playful as he is colorful. He could go in any number of directions under saddle. He is more go than whoa. He would be best suited for a small adult or an older child in a program, as he is still fairly green across all disciplines.

He is up-to-date on vaccinations, Coggins, dewormer, teeth floating, and farrier work. He stands to be clipped. He currently has front shoes and is turned out in a herd with other geldings.

A good home is a must. He is for sale through no fault of his own– his owner has decided that at this stage of her riding career she’d prefer packers over projects.
